On the 1st day of January 2011, 9 people (5 ladies and 4 gentlemen) were
baptized in water by immersion in the River Krishna at our place. After New
Year day service in our Church we led the 9 people followed by some of our
Church members to the river in our mini-bus. We reached the river around
3p.m. The names of those who were baptized are: Benerji Ravuri, 38, Heli
Karini, 20, Jamayamma Tagaram, 45, Mariyamma Lingampalli, 45, Naomi
Lakshmi Ravuri, 35, Suvartha Sathyavathi Aritigala, 35, Vijay Edala, 23,
Yesamma Parasa, 26 and Yesuraju Yerpula, 12. Our son Heli was one of the
persons baptized. The onlookers on the bank of river Krishna watching the
baptisms were amazed to see the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ in the
lives of those baptized. Please pray for the further follow up of those baptized.
Note: Chanti and his wife Lily will be with us over the last weekend in May.
