Bible Studies & Prayer Meetings

The Saturday Prayer meeting intercedes for the Barn, the Sunday services, other local churches, our local community and Scotland, as well as Barn members overseas. 8 - 9 am Saturday Mornings at the church.

Wednesday Housegroup - meets in the Barn Centre at 7.30pm and after tea/coffee and biscuits, we enjoy a time of worship and then study God's word in relaxed and informal way. Then we support each other in prayer.

House Group ia welcoming and friendly place where we meet on Thursday Evenings from 7.30p.m. to 9.30p.m. We start off the evening with a cup of tea/coffee and chat, followed by some singing and then we discuss various topics with reference to the Bible and how it relates to our lives, and finish off with a time of open prayer. We look at our life from a Biblical point of view, looking at issues which people have to face each day. We also get together and share a meal usually every few months.

Good News Club is a fun and friendly place for primary school-age children.  We meet on a Tuesday night from 6.30 – 7.30 during term-time.  We enjoy all sorts of activities, games and songs.  And we love sharing the adventure of getting to know God and following Jesus through the Bible and right here and now!

Sunday Club during the morning the service, children meet and have their own activities, including worship, Bible studies, crafts and games

Buzz is a welcoming and friendly place where, secondary school age young people can meet. It meets in the Buzz room on Sundays during the service 10.30 to 11.45. We enjoy a café style of meeting with fun discussion and friendship for all. We try to look at life today for young people from a Biblical point of view, looking at issues, which young people have to face each day. We also have a monthly fun event usually on the last Friday or Saturday of the month depending on the activity

Buzz Cell is a group for members of Buzz, secondary school age young people. It meets in a home each Sunday night from 8.00 to 9.30pm. We enjoy some food and drinks, games or quiz and then we have a Bible study led by young people and talk about how it impacts on young peoples lives today and we end with prayers.

The Boys' Brigade meet on Thursday  evenings at Duncan Forbes Primary School. Anchor Boys meet at 17.15 - 18.30. Junior Section meet at 18.30-19.45. Company Section meet at 20.00-22.00.

The Girl Guides ~ 1st Culloden Guide Company

Activities and Social Groups

The Craft & Hobbies Workshop,  runs every second Wednesday  10.00 - 12.00. Run by the community  for the community. All welcome. Come along & try your hand at Art, Basic Computing, Card Making, Music, Embroidery, Genealogy etc.

Open house: Coffee and chat:Every 2nd  Wednesday morning the Barn is open between 10 and 11.30 for coffee and chat.  All welcome – a place to meet old friends and new.  Please click on the link to find dates. Free Internet Access Available.

The Lunch Club. 12.00 - 14.00 Thursdays during school term, a meal and social gathering for the elderly.
